About Me

Hi, I'm Shreya Koka, currently pursuing my MTech degree in Computer Science and Information Security from IIIT Hyderabad. I've recently graduated from Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
I have always been fascinated by the scope of technology and the various possibilities it provides, which allows us to learn new things everyday. Now, during my MTech, I am diving deeper into some of the core subjects of computer science, working on projects related to web development and advanced operating systems, that aim to strengthen my fundamentals.
I previously worked as a summer data engineer intern at Providence Global Centre (Providence India) in 2023, where I worked on writing stored procedures for data archival and purging strategy, and also developed basic skills in Azure Data Factory and Power BI. I participated in a couple of hackathons during my BTech, which provided me with hands-on technical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in teams. My goal is to use my technical skills in order to contribute to the tech industry and make a meaningful impact in society in any way possible.

My hobbies

Outside of work, I'm a big foodie and love to try out new places to eat. I like playing tennis, badminton and table tennis. I love discovering new places and hanging out with my friends!
